Coaching: A Professional Development Strategy
Coaching is the professional development strategy used to support providers and service coordinators in consistently and reliably implementing the RBI and GR Approach over time. Each Planning Region Team (PRT) is responsible for ensuring that all early intervention providers and services coordinators are trained and approved in the RBI, functional IFSP outcomes, and Getting Ready Home Visits. The intent is for all PRTs to have local internal coaches available for annual checks of fidelity to these practices.

The RBEI Coach training prepares EI professionals designated by their PRT to function as the local internal coaches. The Coach Portal is a supplemental resource for internal coaches who have completed the Nebraska RBEI Coach training.
